Coffee and Spicy Thai Food at Black Canyon Coffee

10:11:00 AM
In just days I've tasted two different cuisines.  A really great food adventure for my thrill-seeking lips. The most recent one was something that I haven't tasted before.  It was my first time to have something like that, though, I have heard stories of how spicy the dishes are but of course I didn't believed it, not until this particular day.

So what was the name of the restaurant?  It is called the Black Canyon Coffee or BCC for short.   Their menu are Thai dishes and specialty coffee.  Basically BCC originated from Thailand and the branch in SM South Mall is their first ever branch here in the Philippines.  Black Canyon Coffee is surely another name of store to be added in the list of must visit establishment for those who loves to do food adventures.

According to them, Black Canyon Coffee is one of the most successful Thai names in the field of coffee and dining.  Today, Black Canyon Coffee has made its name from its concept of being a full-service casual dining coffee place that serves not only a wide variety of specialty coffee drinks and beverages but also provide a list of delicious and healthy Thai and International food items.  Your eyes will be in for a treat as you browse through the array of dishes that Black Canyon Coffee has to offer and I can assure that your taste buds will definitely in for something new.

It was great that we were blessed enough to be included in the list of bloggers who were invited to their blogger feast event.  My wife and I experienced this feast as if we were on a date.  We were treated first with specialty coffee drinks of our choice.  My choice was the Mocha Glacier Frappe which is Php 130.00.  I think and in my own opinion the drink that I had was greatly comparable with the other coffee stores around.   Aside from what I had, customers can also indulge in any of Black Canyon Coffee’s 24 specialty coffee drinks and 40 special beverages, especially their “Black Canyon Iced Coffee” - a special blend of pure Arabica coffee with two kinds of milk and plenty of ice.

The Black Canyon Frappe and the Mocha Glacier Frappe.

After a few minutes, plates of different viands was laid onto our table.  There were soups like the Tom Yum and Curry Soup , the Fried Prawns with Tamarind Sauce, the Fried Sesame Pork Strips, the Grilled Black Pepper Salmon Salad, and the desserts like the Tin Roof and Premium Mocha.  It was really a feast!

The TOM YUM.
Forgot to take a picture  when it was serve.
Too eager to taste .

The Tom Yum soup did really have a spicy kick in it.  They also stated that customers can ask upon ordering if they wanted it spicy, extra spicy or none at all but the distinct taste and flavor of Thai cuisine are still present.  This is how they pride with their dishes,  strict and consistent with the measurements of their ingredients.  Aside from the Tom Yum soup, the Pad Thai and the Fried Prawns with Tamarind Sauce are my favorite.  The Pad Thai has a sweet and tasty flavor that is addicting and kids can sure love this as well.   Aside from these foods that I liked a lot, there are also other dishes to choose from and enjoy with whether it is with friends or family.

Fried Sesame Pork Strip

One of my favorite the PAD THAI.

The Curry Soup, which also have a sting.

Grilled Black Pepper Salmon Salad.
Just right for those people having their diet.

Great desserts the Tin Roof and Premium Mocha.

Black Canyon Coffee has over 220 branches in Thailand alone, not mention their other branches on various locations in Asia. The success of the brand has always been hinged on its unique formula of food quality, food variety, location, and concept. With this in mind, Mr. Pravit Chitnarapong (CEO of Black Canyon Thailand Co. Ltd.) and Mrs. Wilma Dy (President of Royal Thai Food Philippines Inc.) recognized an opportunity for bringing Black Canyon Coffee to the Philippines to cater to the very Filipino culture of food enjoyment. Black Canyon Coffee also features a rare mix of large portions yet very reasonable prices providing customers great value for their money.

Black Canyon Coffee is now open at SM Southmall, Las Piñas City at the Food Strip.

Tiger Leaf Spring, Best Value for Money

8:32:00 AM

Engineered to deliver maximum strength and durability, RAIPMC's OEM-quality Tiger leaf springs offer the best value for money

Press Release
MANILA, Philippines—XX March 2012—Out with the old, in with the new—at least when it comes to replacement auto parts.

That's the expert advice given by Michael Gonzalez, General Manager of Roberts Automotive and Industrial Parts Manufacturing Corporation (RAIPMC). Recognizing the tendency of car owners to opt for surplus items whenever a part needs replacing, he is quick to caution that “cheap and used” do not often deliver the same bottomline value as “brand new.”

"The savings that one supposedly makes by buying surplus products may all be illusory," Gonzalez asserts. "There is nothing practical about a second-hand auto part of unknown origin, with no warranty, and with no indication of how much is left of the product life cycle."

To help steer car owners into making genuinely value-driven decisions, Roberts AIPMC is thus working continuously to supply a diverse range of high-quality and cost-effective automotive products. This includes the company's Tiger leaf springs brand, which was launched in 1994 and has since been established as the only locally manufactured leaf spring trusted by original equipment manufacturers (OEM) like Mitsubishi Motors Philippines, Toyota Motors, Isuzu Philippines Corporation, Columbian Motors, Nissan/Universal Motors Corporation (manufacturer and distributor of Nissan light utility vehicles), and Pilipinas Hino.

But Tiger isn't just for the big industry names, Gonzalez points out. It's also for individual vehicle owners who may sometimes express reluctance at spending a little extra on a brand new replacement part, but won't hesitate to seize every opportunity to get the best possible value for their money.

Tiger represents one such opportunity. Unlike surplus or substandard leaf springs (or molye in Tagalog)—which may sag, break, or crack under heavy duty and extreme driving conditions—Tiger leaf springs are engineered to deliver maximum strength and durability, while helping spread passenger or cargo load more widely and effectively over the vehicle's chassis. All this, then, contributes to enhanced steering stability, better handling, and improved passenger comfort.

According to Gonzalez, the immediate positive impact that a new Tiger leaf spring assembly makes on a vehicle's suspension system is what sets the brand apart from the competition. He adds, "Our company always strives to meet international manufacturing standards, and it's good to know that our efforts translate directly into a better, smoother road experience for our clients."

RAIPMC's product catalog for Tiger includes conventional and parabolic types, and covers all kinds of automotive applications—for cars, buses, shuttles, jeepneys, tricycles, cargo trucks, tankers, mixers, delivery vans, pickups, utility vehicles, and more. By following an ISO 9001:2008-certified quality management system, and by subjecting each Tiger to a series of extensive load, hardness, and durability tests, the company is consistently able to develop OEM-quality leaf springs at a rate of approximately 600 tons per month.

Of course, at RAIPMC's 1,300-sqm. manufacturing plant in Cabuyao Laguna, quality tops quantity at all times. It is this example that Gonzales hopes more car owners will soon follow. "When it comes to leaf springs, or some other priority component of the car," he says, "don't go for what's cheaper. Go for what's better." Press Release

THIS AUGUST I AM GIANT RELEASE THEIR HOTLY ANTICIPATED DEBUT ALBUM THE HORRIFYING TRUTH VIA SONY MUSIC

On The Horrifying Truth, I Am Giant have bound together what they describe as “a collection of stories, thoughts, observations and exploration” into one cohesive and hard-hitting explosion of sound and melody. From first song ‘Purple Heart’ to closer ‘After The War’, the sharp lyrical themes draw the listener into the band’s own experience of a growing awareness of mortality and the slow loss of innocence. And yet, I Am Giant have produced an album fuelled by a youthful idealism, not despite but because of the hard learned lessons that are a reality of modern life. The Horrifying Truth is pure, unadulterated rock, with its heart on its sleeve and an unquenchable fire in its soul.

The London-based quartet is comprised of English vocalist Ed Martin, sticks-man Shelton Woolright (formerly of multi-platinum selling band Blindspott), bassist Paul Matthews (formerly of Auckland outfits Stylus and Tadpole) and veteran guitar-slinger Aja Timu, the last to join the IAG line-up.

‘And We’ll Defy’ is the first single from I Am Giant’s much anticipated debut. Bassist Paul Matthews explains “‘And We'll Defy’ is a song about the human need to believe in and belong to something that can define and guide us and about how vulnerable and easily led we can become as a consequence.”

The album also includes all three of I Am Giant’s hit singles from their 2010 City Limits EP – ‘City Limits’, ‘Neon Sunrise’ and ‘Living The Crash’ – all of which hit the top two spots on The Rock FM’s national airplay charts, and have had combined sales in excess of 15,000, not to mention videos featuring world surfing champion Kelly Slater, champion skater Tony Hawke and some of the world’s best extreme athletes.

The Horrifying Truth was recorded with acclaimed Australian alt rock producer/engineer Forrester Savell between Sony Studios in Sydney, and Forrester’s studio at Sing Sing Studios in Melbourne between January and April 2011, and was co-produced by bassist Paul Matthews and drummer Shelton Woolright.

Marvin Agustin Host's TV5’s Artista Academy

2:17:00 PM

Coming in full circle, the cute teen heartthrob from ABS-CBN’s “Star Circle” had become a multi-awarded Actor, TV Host, restaurateur, chef, concert producer, all-around businessman and now a host advisor. From ABS-CBN to GMA-7 now on the Kapatid Network, Marvin Agustin pushes the envelope further as he takes the big leap of sharing his accomplishments as an actor-chef-restaurateur now as the lead host of TV5’s Artista Academy.

Best to show a timeless star that continues to gain respect in showbiz, Marvin will host the biggest and most anticipated Kapatid Network’s Artista Academy talent search. “TV5 through Perci Intalan and Wilma Galvante offered me to do Artista Academy”, says Marvin during an interview with The Philippine Daily Inquirer. He felt that it was the perfect reality show for him after the steadfast lead among his contemporaries in showbiz who have come and gone.

We have all awed from the Marvin launched as an actor via ABS-CBN’s Star Circle in the 90s with several remarkable performances in “Gimik”, “Esperanza”, and the primetime drama “Sa Sandaling Kailangan Mo Ako” where fan base exponentially grew teamed up with Ms. Jolina Magdangal. From the loveteam both transferred to Kapuso Network years after, Marvin had become completely gained a name on his own after being part of the trio with Dominic Ochoa and Rico Yan in the same decade. He found his second wind at GMA-7’s comeback with Jolina in “I Love New York” , “Asian Treasures” with Robin Padilla and Angel Locsin. His notable character as hunchback in “Mga Mata ni Angelita”, made a mark on Pinoy households as more mature, edgy and iconic dramatic actor.

Marvin’s passion and commitment to improving the quality of entertainment in the Philippines showed him the path to grow and share what he knows as an Artista. “I can very well relate to the future artistas of TV5”, he continued. He had experienced all the process of auditions to rejections from his beginnings in ABS-CBN’s “Star Circle” auditions in the 90s. Kapamilya launched his career 16 years ago and Kapuso allowed him to explore his other potentials. It was TV5 who was generous to have given him the opportunity to be a line producer looking for new shows for other newbies to stardom. It was through Marvin’s creative ideas and concepts that TV5’s Kanta Pilipinas was born. The show earned him the authority to be one of the most regarded line producers that scours the nation for exemplary talents.

“Now, Kapatid Network is expanding my horizons by letting me produce shows for the station that will discover talents and fulfill dreams”, he added. At Futuretainment Inc., Marvin Agustin continues to provide opportunities to aspiring talents in showbiz producing several shows and acts shown in all the said networks.

Up the ante at all types of opportunities, Marvin showed gratitude to both networks where he traces his roots as an artista. “All 3 stations aim to entertain and I remain very grateful to channels 2 and 7, “ he continued. It took 15 years in showbiz for Marvin to explore his potentials more than acting as chef, restaurateur and concert producer and his continued success in all fields earned him the right to be the best role model for actors and actresses today. With business partnerships in more than 8 restos of Sumo Sam Foods chains now expanding exponentially with more than 24 stores nationwide, Marvin Agustin’s career and businesses flourished at the same time.

He was there all along behind the curtains every Saturday joined by veteran and award-winning dramatic actor, Cesar Montano as the Live Presentor in TV5’s Artista Academy and he’s ready to step up the stage to wow the audience with his wit and skills.

The long wait is over for Marvin Agustin to come out of the curtains as host of TV5’s Artista Academy which held grand auditions last June 19, 2012 at Smart Araneta Coliseum. It is the Marvin we have anticipated to lift up the Filipino talents today, a genuine leader and role model in Philippine entertainment industry, proud to be a Kapatid, soon on TV5! Don’t miss Marvin Agustin and the country’s search for the next big star on TV5’s Artista Academy slated to be shown on July 2012, a show to boost FAME, FORTUNE and STARDOM to aspiring actors.

Press Release
The protégé and the mentor finally released the highly-anticipated self-titled album, Krizza. “Krizza” features most requested songs from Protégé and OPM originals composed by the music icons of today. The carrier single, “Ba’t Di Ko Ba Nasabi” is the original soundtrack from GMA-7’s The Good Daughter. The album has 10 tracks with 2 OPM remakes showing the soulful, edgy and R&B distinct voice of Krizza Neri at her best.

Grand Winner Mentor, Actress and Singer-Songwriter Aiza Seguerra produced the album under her own label Blackbird Music and contributed two original tracks, “Kung Malalaman Mo” and “Look My Way”. “I am extremely happy also that some of the songs from Protégé most requested by viewers are included in the album”, says Aiza.

The mentor shares a song of longing with guitar-accompaniment with “Look My Way” with lyrics from Joel Trinidad creating a beautiful romantic pop-soulful tune. Singer-Composer Nyoy Volante (“No More You and Me”) and Laarni Matta Macaraeg (“Dahil Sa ‘Yo”) completes the romance and inspiration with songs that move and uplift any mood of any day. Jude Thaddeus Gitamondoc contributed preppy youthful songs “French Fries and Coke” and “Don’t Be Too Much” that suits the 16-year old protégé Krizza Neri many of the teens anticipate to relate and sing-along with.

Coca-Cola Launches Anywhere In The World The Anthem for the London 2012 Olympic Games

9:01:00 AM

Press Release
"Sport is music in the way that it has so many different natural rhythms... when I was recording the athletes I wasn't really thinking of them in terms of athletes performing a sport, I was thinking of them as people in an orchestra." Mark Ronson

Fusing the sounds of sport and music. Anywhere in the World, the anthem for the Coca-Cola London 2012 Olympic campaign launched globally today. Available for purchase online, the exclusive track is the centerpiece of the brand's Move to the Beat™ campaign.

Move to the Beat ™ is designed to bring teens closer to the Olympic Games and to sport in general by engaging them through a fusion of two global teen passions - sport and music. Drawing inspiration from London's musical heritage, the campaign combines London music with Olympic sport in an effort to connect young people to London 2012.

"The number one passion point for teens is music," explains Shay Drohan, Senior Vice President of Sparkling Beverages, The Coca-Cola Company. "Through Move to the Beat™, Coca-Cola is inspiring teens around the world to move to the beat of London and come together in the biggest Olympic Games activation in our 84-year partnership."

Coca-Cola Presents the Beat of London 2012

The creative process behind the production of the track has been brought to life in an engaging hour-long documentary currently airing across the globe. Ronson traveled the world gaining inspiration for the song and meeting young athletes to record the sounds of their sport, before teaming up with UK chart-topper Katy B to provide the vocals.

The athletes whose sounds form the beat of the track are:

Maria Espinoza, taekwondo athlete from Mexico; Dayyan Jaffar, archer from Singapore; Darius Knight, table tennis player from Great Britain; David Oliver, 110m hurdler from the United States; Kseniya Vdovina, 400m sprinter from Russia.

In this musical experiment, Ronson recorded the array of sounds that each athlete produced while participating in their sport. He used innovative methods to capture the unique sounds of each individual sport, like cycling alongside hurdler David Oliver with a microphone to yield the sound that is produced at the precise moment his feet hit the ground.

"If someone had just sent me a hard disk of all these sounds of athletes, the track wouldn't have been anywhere near as three-dimensional as it is because I needed those personal experiences with those athletes," said Mark Ronson. "It's just so important to be there to see these athletes and spend so much time around them and be in their environment to understand how to make this track."

A sneak peak of Ronson's journey is available online (http://www.coca-cola.com/theolympics/en-US)

Global Digital Experience

Teens across the world are invited to be a part of Ronson's journey and the Games through The Coca-Cola Company's largest-ever digital program. The Create my Beat desktop application (www.coca- cola.com/theolympics) creates individualized beats by mixing a teen's personal musical preference and their sporting interest with their online social media footprint. Once created, the personalized experience can be uploaded to The Global Beat , a worldwide online community that brings together individual beats to create an ever-evolving global music collaboration.

Mobile Experience

The My Beatmaker app for smartphones (available for free download online) goes one step further, using groundbreaking ZooZ technology to enable teens to create their Beat through the motion of their phone. An Extra Ordinary Food Experience at Mazza Shawarma

8:18:00 PM
Mazza's Shawarma with its bite size beef and other ingredients.
I'm not very much sure if it was late 90's when Shawarma stands starts popping up almost every corner of the streets but one thing is for sure it's something new to Filipino taste buds that's why it became a hit.  Almost everywhere you'll see people holding a wrap of shawarma, munching on that Persian food.  I don't know who brought shawarma to the Filipino food scene but it really created a new food adventure.

Though the hit of the Shawarma dies down due to some factors, there are still some establishments who continued to serve and provide this extra ordinary taste.  One establishment, though they have been only opened for a year, Mazza Shawarma was able to make a stand out and offer this Persian cuisine.  Unlike any of those sprouted stalls before, Mazza Shawarma have their own distinction.

Front of Mazza Shawarma with good space for parking.
Mazza Shawarma isn't a stall or a kiosk that we usually find but it is a restaurant that can be located along the avenue of C. Raymundo at Hampton Gardens Arcade, Maybunga, Pasig City.  Giving their customers a more relaxing and extra ordinary dining experience.  Owned by business-minded and food loving couple, Aris Carino and Karen Dulay.  After finishing culinary school they decided to open their own restaurant which is the Mazza Shawarma.

So, what makes Mazza's Shawarma stands out?   Unlike the usual kiosk or stall type store, Mazza Shawarma doesn't settle for just cheap ingredients, they make sure that it is high quality beef.  They don't cook their beef on the usual vertical stove but in a normal cooking to keep the tenderness and juiciness of the beef in tact.   Added with their special ingredients and an abundant amount of spices makes it more extraordinary.    Take note, Shawarmas should be taken while it is hot to personally experience the texture, taste and aroma of the food and ingredients.  Also, don't forget their Garlic Sauce and the spicy one.  It really compliments with the shawarma.  The experience was great without the tangy after taste that give a bad breathe.

They also have different Persian cuisine in their menu that will for sure let you drool for more.  The grilled Pita bread that goes well with garlic dip or jalapeno hummus dip.  Great as an appetizer. The addicting Keema which goes well with Pita bread or with rice.  The beef and chicken kebabs that are well grilled that can be ordered either in solo stick or together with a rice.  This one, aside from the shawarma, is also everybody's favorite, the 11-inches Beef Shawarma Pizza.  It is for sure a tummy-filler for two persons but good enough for four persons.   I just want to have another set of those Persian food.

Sweet and Tasty Red Ice Tea.

If you're looking for a new food adventure, I definitely recommend Mazza Shawarma, it's worth scouting for.
And by the way if you're going there together with a whole bunch of your barkada, they can accommodate more or less 28 people per turnover inclusive of 9 people seated in the smoking area.  It offers dine-in, take-out and delivery (for nearby areas only) services to customers.  Plus a free wifi (for a blogger like me) access to let you post those mouthwatering foods on your social networking sites.

Thanks to Aris Carino and Karen Dulay for these tasty treats.

FILA and Athletes in Action Run for School Rooms

5:59:00 PM

Recently, I was able to get invited in an event regarding the launch of FILA and Athletes in Action (AIA) Schools Run for School Rooms.  It is an advocacy program which aims to take part in solving the nation's greater woes.  The two organization join forces to bring the biggest advocacy run to help raise funds for the rehabilitation of the classrooms in Iligan City, which were badly hit by Typhoon Sendong back in 2011.

Numbers of bloggers were present during the event to witness and learn about the programs and undertakings of FILA and Athletes in Action, especially with this project that they are all involve with.  Hosted by one of the endorser Mr Tim Yap and together with the coaches and people behind the advocacy run, they were able to address to the bloggers the need and the importance of this upcoming event.  This run will not only benefit the schools and students of Iligan City but will also benefit the runners as well, physically!

With 15,000 runners who have signed up to date and still expecting for more, the Schools Run for School Rooms (SRSR) marathon will be gathering student-runners from major colleges and universities, to bring a glimmer of hope to Iligan city, where eager students have to do with makeshift classrooms as the school year starts.

With just a few weeks of the the event hopefully people get to notice and participate in the run and try to share the blessings.

Since 1911, FILA traces its roots from Biella, a province set at the foot of the Italian Alps. Unbeknownst to many, this small town brand is big on corporate social responsibility. At the recently concluded 2012 FILA Polo Cup, project “500 for 500” was launched by FILA President Butch Albert to help Typhoon Sendong victims once again by donating 500 pesos to 500 families for every purchase of Skele-Toes. Skele-Toes is FILA’s latest line of revolutionary active footwear that is fast raising many eyebrows and causing the curious to utter #whattheheckisthat? For us at FILA, it’s simply a shoe that changes the game. Rock at the gym or at the party, Skele-Toes is just about the only shoe that fits – and Tim, Georgina, and Borgy all agree!

Since people will be running on this advocacy run it is high time that people should try FILA's  newest line of running shoes, Swerve and Flow. FILA Swerve boasts of a Dynamic Landing System through a lightweight foam at the midsole and V3 techonology inserts at the heel. This gives you the proper support that you need in every step, without compromising style and design.

FILA Flow is perfect for the outdoor dweller with its heavy duty outsole, making every shock and bump a breeze. This one will surely go with you to countless victories and finishes.

Whether you prefer a classic or a rocking pair of rubbershoes, it’s high time to give your tiresome trainers a break and take the Skele-Toes, Swerve, or Flow out for a spin. With your purchase of a pair of Skele-Toes and participation at the SRSR marathon, it’s definitely more fun to help with FILA!

Tickets and registration forms are available at SM Ticketnet outlets (https://www.smtickets.com/event/view/776). Singlets and race bibs can be claimed at Fila Stores in Metro Manila.

100% Big NO! With a Kick of Positivity

10:26:00 AM
How many people did experience
Hearing a big no answer?
How many times been rejected
Perhaps, not lesser than my fingers.

Well, we all do have rejections in life and perhaps most of us had a full list of them. So where and when did I had that big NO answer? It started two years after high school. For teenagers, the greatest achievement during that time, besides higher grades, are the big YES of girls. It means they are agreeing to enter into a relationship with you and boys do get the right for a kiss or an embrace. Lucky boys!

There's one girl whom I considered first as my friend and then later on decided to court her. Hoping to get that friendship on a next level. Gladly, the courting was accepted but to have her say yes was a torment. At first I thought it was a terrible mistake to move that relationship that far but hey I started it already and there's no turning back.

So the days started to count and I think I've courted her for quite some time already and I think it went more than a year. I know it's quite long for these generation but hey that's how it goes during my time! She was simple, cute, sexy with nice straight hair. I'm sure I had so many competition with her and I don't mind having competition as long as we just court it well.

During those days, my family we're not rich and the only time I get to have extra money is when I save excess from my daily allowance. So, if I want to court I need to save up and be creative enough. Since I'm an artist and loves crafty things I showered this girl with creative poems like this...

Softly and calmly
You tingle my ears
Peacefully and quietly,
You take away my fears.

My troubled mind
You cradle it solemnly
My every sigh
You take it peacefully.

Every tune
You tone my life
Every cue
You lift me at my height.

Every deepest night
Enters a sounding day,
Gives light so bright
In every path and way.

And not only that I also tried to be creative and think out of the box by painting something for this lovely lady which sometimes comes with a love note. There were also a time that I tried to write my love notes on a shell, circling around till it reach the tip and one time I created a few love notes on a defective microfloppy disk. Here's a sample of the painting I've drawn.

It was more than a year of torment. Waiting for that specific word from her. I didn't gave her any fancy things or any big Stuffed Toys like this as a gift....

Fortunately this is the biggest stuffed toy that I can find.
Hugging it and making a big face as well.

My paintings given to her are not big as this mural...

It's me posing beside the biggest wall mural along EDSA near Magallanes MRT Station.
Hopefully this is the biggest wall mural.
but one thing is for sure I did created an impression that my intention is true.

So then the reckoning day has come! It was summer, exactly May 15, 1999 around 2:00 PM she gave her answer... it was a big and boldly 100% NO! That's what I have heard!

It was hot during that time but I felt I was soaked into a drum of water with chunks of ice. I was cold! Then she grabbed my hand, hold it tight and continued “No, you're not wrong about how I feel for you!” My heart pumps and boosted like a rocket! It was a bliss!

A friendship that levelled up into a relationship!

The biggest card that I've ever created and given to my very best friend, my ex-girlfriend,
and my wife.  We were friends before we became lovers.   The card says
"A Window of Friendship... Always Open For You."
She's now my wife but the friendship still remains and we celebrate that friendship as we enjoys every minute of our life together.

Sharing the Big N' Tasty Burger with my ex-girlfriend, MY WIFE.
Biting together on both end!  Thanks to McDonald's.

It was a minute to count,
It was an hour to share,
To someone special
And someone you truly care.

Standing Out the Crowd With Bum's Glam Rock Bags

11:46:00 AM

Here's something from BUM for the teens who wants to get noticed instantly.

Standing out at school doesn’t mean you have to constantly challenge the rules and break your school’s dress code.

So before you walk down the crowded hallway again, make sure you’re clad in cool pieces and armed with the right accessories that would reflect your no-nonsense rebel attitude.

Taking off from its successful “Teevolution” campaign, which called forth an outpour of vibrant colors, bold prints, and graphic ethnic patterns, innovative brand BUM helps the youngsters today stand out by upping their style quotient and street cred before the school year starts.

Veering away from the normal and the ordinary design concepts of most local clothing labels, BUM comes up with stylish yet functional bags that carry the brand’s style philosophy: the Modern Goth Look with a touch of Glam Rock (think studded pieces, motorcycle jackets, tapered pants, oversized shirts, and the like).

This utilitarian concept was made casual by BUM, turning motorcycle jackets into cropped ones, and with notched collar jackets for boys. They can also go for the “casual cool” look with chino cuffed pants that allow them to swing from schoolwork to play without breaking a sweat.

Girls, who love pieces that can be mixed and matched with their favorite tops and bottoms, will be delighted to know that BUM has whipped up something new for them, as well. BUM introduces the rayon fabric for girls and exciting new designs such as 2-in-1 tops, casual blazers, and blouses with built-in mini designed to look like tunics.

Skinny jeans and jeggings have also found their way into BUM’s new collection. Stylish yet comfortable, these pants can flatter any shape and can be worn with a baggy top, a comfy cardigan, or a fitted jacket to create proportion. Girls with short legs can pair these with heels (stilettos or knee-high boots), while long-legged girls can opt for comfy flats.

Making a statement, however, is not limited to a person’s wardrobe. BUM has also come up with trendy bags that can complete one’s getup.

Splashed with catchy, statement patterns, the BUM Tote bag for girls/teens, for instance, are printed with provocative messages that speak volumes about the wearer’s personality or mood for the day.

Made of printed canvas mixed with poly-fine fiber, the BUM Reversible Bag is designed with eye-catching patterns and minimal accent details. Since both sides (inner and outer) have designs, it’s like having two bags in one!

Going back to school has never been this cool and fashionable.

BUM is available in leading department stores nationwide. For more information, visit www.bumequipment.com.ph or like them on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/bumequip.

Shawarma Benefits and Stuff

11:42:00 AM

Shawarma is one of the popular dishes that Middle Easterners dig in. It is considered or called a wrap food. The shawarma's stuffing consists of beef, turkey, chicken, goat or lamb but sometimes they mixed it with different types of meats. It is served with pita bread, cucumber, lavash bread, tomatoes, tabouli salad, tabbon bread and fattoush salad. The meat is placed on a spit and it is commonly grilled not just hours but sometimes for an entire day, of course with just medium heat. Perhaps it is done to drip off the fat of the meat. That's the usual serving of Middle Eastern Shawarma.

In the Philippines, shawarma has been one of the foods dig in by many Filipino. Once it has been a craze but drops down and only few who really brings out the good taste of shawarma stays in the market. Up to now people visit this restaurants to have a taste of Middle Eastern foods.

Very few people know that this kind of wrap food is not only quick and instant to prepare but also serves good nutrition for our body. With all the ingredients stuff inside the shawarma like cucumber, tomato, onion, meat or chicken, it will provide our system with nutrients like Proteins, Potassium, Vitamin A, Sodium, Vitamin B6, and more.

So easy, convenient, and healthy!
