Last April 24, 2013 a press conference was held at Cerchio Restaurant in Tomas Morato as Bamboo Manalac launched his Album NO WATER NO MOON.  Kwento Ni Toto was there to witness and hear the soulful voice of Bamboo in person.  This is a re-release with a new single entitled
"Carousel".  The album will be out in different music store in May 1, 2012 via Polyeast Records.   The album No Water No Moon was Manalac's first solo which is originally released in 2011.  It crept to Gold record status in February 2013, this album produced the singles "Questions", "Spin", "Ikot ng Mundo", and "In This Life".  The same album gave him another taste of victory at the 25th Awit Awards for the Best Performance by a Male Recording Artist award for his song "Questions".

A few weeks ago Kwento Ni Toto's correspondent Justin was able to attend a blog conference with one of the most idolized and fantasized teen actor of this generation, Daniel Padilla.  I think my correspondent may not admit it but I'm pretty sure he was in awe seeing Daniel Padilla in person.  More, he was able to get first hand information from him as bloggers who were there at the venue shots question one at a time.  Here's what Justin tells about it.

In our traditional TV viewing we usually watch the Teleseryes, showbiz talk show, movie, news and variety shows on a specific schedule or time slot that sometimes we tend to miss, specially our favorite ones.   Well, those days is already history with the presence of the internet, everything is just a click away and can be viewed online. I've learned also through our conversation about the Push and Pull. The traditional TV is called a "Push" because it follows a definite schedule or time of airing, you cannot choose because it's already set so you need to follow the schedule. While the "Pull" is the latest style of watching shows through online because viewers can choose when to watch it or log on the specific site to watch a missed series or show.

If anyone knows John Rendez then perhaps those who are in the 90's and don't ask how old is Toto of Kwento Ni toto.  Back into rap again as this rap artist and composer aims to share his music in the industry once more.  After returning August 2011, this 42 year old rapper, composer and actor planned his way through the music industry with his rap compositions and of course singing them for the listeners.

It took him exactly a year to finish the new all-rap album, from conceptualizing the type and quality of its contents, to composing the new rap songs, to deciding on some "updates" to his previous compositions.

Everything fell into place and on October 1 last year, John Rendez, together with Ms. Nora Aunor, his long-time friend and now business manager, has inked a distribution deal with PolyEast Records for the release of the new John Rendez CD album, titled "Metaldog"/"There Can Only Be One".
